Description: Please note: At the last GA a vote passed to move the General Assembly to the park behind the YMCA, one block south of Wellesley, just west of Yonge Street, between Yonge and Bay streets, just off the street that runs east and west called "Breadalbane".
The park is on the south side of that street, just to the north, and also to the west of the YMCA there.

Dear Friends and Allies,

As many of you are aware, persistent issues with the current General
Assembly (GA) process have resulted in many individuals and groups
feeling ineffectual and/or unsafe and thus unwilling and/or unable to
discuss and organize in that environment. As a response to these
ongoing problems, some members of Occupy Toronto have decided to try
something new!
A once per week GA will be held using a consensus building process
with a 90% decision-making rule; a safe-space agreement and trained
facilitation. In addition, we will begin to explore language around
decolonization to supplement the Occupy meme in order to address
serious concerns regarding its associations.
We are very excited to invite you as well as any and all people who
will be respectful of the space to come out and join us for the first
new GA on MONDAY, APRIL 2nd in Cloud Gardens (Richmond St. W between
Yonge and Bay) to discuss the upcoming May Day rally and actions
including potential Re-occupation!
We ask that any proposals be submitted to the facilitation team by
Sunday night, 7 pm at occupytoproposals@gmail.com.

Description: Hi friends,

Come on out for our next Gardeners Assembly! If it's not pouring rain we'll meet at our usual spot, the People's Peas Garden, which is towards the North end of Queen's Park (but not all the way north), directly across the street from the Hart House - Tuesday June 5, 5-7pm.

We'll discuss the wellbeing of our existing community garden, how to become a Garden Guardian, new gardening opportunities around the city for green thumbs and newbies alike, and plans for a BIG special summer event!

Feel free to bring your potluck picnic dinner with you to the park! We'll also do some gardening to tend to the People's Peas garden and see if anything is ready for harvest.
