Occupy Toronto was able to join with Stop the Cuts & OCAP in 2012 to stop some $ 30 million is Toronto Budget cuts to services that stand today! Provincially the New Democrats were able to use the balance of power to challenge the minority Liberals to tax those making more than $ 500,000 a 2% sur tax.
